Karl and I joined Andrew and Kayleen (his brother and wife) and her parents on Monday on their boat. We all went to Owyhee Lake. It was the perfect temperature and the perfect ending to a hot day. We loved it!
When I went with Karl, I had to learn how to fall off and not just ride till I'm tired. It was AWESOME! It was my first time tubing and Karl hadn't gone for years. I went with Kayleen first and it was terrifying....I asked her dad to drive the boat slow and he said he did, but it was sooo fast for me! haha.
Eventually I got used to it and was able to go by myself while the boat was going about 40 mph. SOOOOO FAST! You may not believe me...but that's ok....it was fast.
Karl went with me next and he held me up so I wouldn't have to work as hard and I could enjoy it. Then we jumped off together and I got a TON of water in my face/nose/mouth. It was a little rough, but I loved every minute of it!
I should've posted some pics of Andrew and Karl. They were challenged to not fall off, and so Kayleen's dad made the waves and the boys fall off. It was hilarious.
Can you tell I was trying to hold on? There were parts where I hit my chin on the tube a lot and I think I have a bruise just from that. haha.
Lovely face right? haha.
I hooked my feet and was able to go by myself!
I got the hang of it and asked Kayleen's dad to go faster.
If you haven't gone tubing...I highly recommend it! The lake was perfect and the weather was better!
