This is Karl and me on top of a peak. We are 8,400 ft. high and we could see parts of Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Montana. It was awesome!
If you look at the state of Idaho on a map you can see on the left side that there are Seven large peaks. They call it the Seven Devils and we hiked on three peaks. We didn't hike on the actual devils, but it was the same area. We also hiked down to mirror lake and seven devils lake.
Here is a beautiful view of what I could see while hiking.
Very tired while hiking. I had to use walking sticks the whole way and believe me, they saved me! I felt like angels were pushing me along the way just to get me up the mountains.
Looking back I could not believe what we did. There were many times where I thought I wouldn't be able to make it or couldn't go on. If Karl hadn't kept saying "good job" or "keep going" I would not have done it all the way. It was fun when it was over, but during was so hard!
This is us on the saddle. We got to this point finally and then went down hill. Behind me is the tower of babel and the mirror lake. The girls made a totem pole. It was crazy doing all of this, but it was amazing at the same time. There were things that I have never done on that trip and I am so glad I did them.
Here is everyone except Karl's dad. from top to bottom it goes Andrew, Karl, Me, Marleis, Kayleen, and RaAnna. So much fun!!! We got there on Thursday and hiked, then hiked the next day and fished a lot, then did a little hike and then went home. Best weekend ever!!!!
