Anne Marie Enger and other updates

We have a new family member! Well, she is temporary, but we are still happy she is with us! She is a foreign exchange student from Norway and she moved in with us the weekend before Thanksgiving. She will be here until school ends. She is such a joy to have and I love that there is another person in the house to keep me occupied. Not having any children of my own makes it possible to have a clean house, but it gets lonely. I am so glad that Anne Marie keeps me company and keeps me laughing. She's so fun, smart, creative, and gorgeous!
She, Karl and I chopped down a Christmas tree last Saturday and it was crazy fun. We drove about 10 miles away from our house. Then we got to a part that our truck would not be able to go through, so we had to walk to get the tree. We walked over an hour in the deep mud and rain uphill. We cut down the tree and then had to carry it down, which took a little less than an hour. We decorated it and we even have a couple presents under the tree. yay! I love this time of year! It brings families together and we have so much fun doing everything. Here are so pics to show you.

Karl had his last chemo therapy treatment today and we are so grateful for everything Heavenly Father has done for us this year! I am grateful for this wonderful seasonal time.
